Camp
Ethics:
-
First thing is to always
plan ahead and prepare thoroughly.

Be careful where you hike
and camp, and be mindful of sensitive areas.

Use correct methods when
its time to dispose of your trash, fish guts, wash water, human and
cooking waste.

Be
considerate of other hikers, campers, and backpackers; also remember to
be peaceful and quiet is always a nice.

When having a campfire
think Indian fire and save some wood for next time.
-
Never feed, throw sharp
rocks, or attemp to inflict harm to the wildlife unless left with no other
option.

When in bear country always
use bear proof food storage container.
-
Resist the temptation
to bring home natural souvineers or ancient artifacts that you might run
across while on your journey.
-
Never wash anything including
yourself in lakes, streams, or springs.
-
Leave only footprints
take only pictures.
